I'm forever reading about people not being able to sit down after a caning and not being able to sit comfortably for many days.

Is there any truth in this?

I've had canings of well over 100 hard strokes that caused considerable bleeding (not something I wanted - just something one has to put up with if one wants a certain level of punishment), as well as hard strappings and paddlings, and I have never had the slightest difficulty sitting down. The actual canings themselves were agnonising! On a couple of occasions I've had a very pleasant mild tenderness for a day or two.

I sometimes wonder if people who write about CP have any experience of it at all.

On a similar note; before I had any experience of watching CP - either in r/l or on film, I had expected, from the stories I had read, that the person being punished would be doing a lot of serious wriggling about - it seemed to figure in a great many accounts - but in reality almost everyone seems to take it with very little movement at all.

Hello,

after my session provides the sterile wounds and I can drive well my 200 km with the car home.

In the next few days , then uses the soreness both during sitting and walking ,

after about 4 - 5 days , the wounds dry and I can sit and go without much problems.

In the blog http://blog.madame-catarina.com you see some pictures of 2 canings , but was sitting with light restrictons.

Best regards

Caneboy

I agree - I think it's an urban myth that people can't sit down after a caning. I've taken a few quite hard canings from a professional lady in the past couple of years and I've never had any difficulty at all in sitting down immediately afterwards. Actually I find it's a couple of hours later when the soreness becomes more noticeable but, even then, sitting is only mildly uncomfortable.

I find it depends on many things - number of strokes, type of cane etc. However, the biggest determinant of level re sitting is WHERE the caning is administered on the bottom. On the higher more fleshy part then definitely no problem and, indeed, if sex/ milking follows then no pain at all is left. Lower down, more on the actual ‘seat’ and nearer the thighs then I find more bruising takes place and a bit more discomfort – but very pleasant really. As RB states, it’s a couple of hours later the ‘glow’ emerges but still no problem with sitting, just a nice tingle. Agree it’s an urban myth on the whole. Yes, BobA, a lot of the filmed stuff doesn’t look severe enough to cause a problem with sitting.

I can sit down with no problem after a severe caning or straping.I think also that is a "Urban legend".

None of the ladies on the site seem to be taking these comments as a challenge

Hello,

my experience , the bloody stripes on the transition to the bottom and the thighs are preparing the most pain ,

even after the session.

Best regards

Personally, I love nothing more than to sit on a hard (preferably wooden) chair or hard surface after receiving a severe caning. When the immediate effect of a caning has worn off and the pain has been taken over by soreness, swelling and bruising, I love the feeling a hard chair against by bum and will make the most of it for as long as my wounds allow. I have taken some prolonged and severe canings over the years with a variety of weights and thickness of canes, maybe up to 100 strokes on occasions and can honestly say that I’ve never had a problem sitting down afterwards.

I do find if the sit /sweet spot is persistantly caned , sitting down on hard surfaces can be somewhat uncomfortable , but not impossible . However , it is plesant !!!

Yeah, I adore that feeling. I'll never forget after the first time I was "properly" caned, by a pro-domme using a dragon cane. My head was spinning and my heart still racing as I sat and waited half an hour for the train home, seated on a red metal bench at Leeds station. My entire mind was focused on the sensations in my buttocks, one of which had swollen up quite considerably and both of which were vividly furrowed. Like other posters, I must say I was surprised to be able to sit at all, because of the prevalence of the "you won't be able to sit down for a week!" concept - but I thoroughly savoured the discomfort and soreness anyway.

And on getting off the train, a two mile bicycle ride up a steep hill to where I used to live. That concentrated my mind somewhat on all the wounded bits! A sweet memory of the first evening of a new kind of life for me.
